LW 11.6 (latest build)

Does the number of objects in a scene affect the performance? Basically I have imported in an FBX file which has a crap load of "trees" (over 2000) in individual .lwo files along with thousands of other individual objects. I am in the tedious process of consolidating them now but the lagtime I'm noticing (just opening scene editor or the like) is painful....

Just checking...

yes (even if you have 5000 null objects it'll slowdown) so consolidate layers as much as you can.
