It's superb! We had a Dell in the office that came equipped with one and it was very fast, very smooth and handled objects with loads of polys admirably, even over two monitors...

I use a Quadro 2 MX and a Geforce 4 Ti and both are fast and trouble-free. I would recommend any of the Nvidia cards.

Thank you for both of you kindly reply!! I confirm to buy this FX500 to replace my VX1.

But, any of you know, about how to compare the 3D Display card by the tech. spec from the website. I can only compare them by the Polygon / sec. e.g. VX1 is 11 million and FX500 is 44 million. What other spec is easy for such compare?

Check out www.tomshardware.com they should have a review of that card. There is another site that gave a more specific review using LW. Try a google search.

From what I remember the FX 500 was not much faster than a Ti 4600. The FX 1000 or 2000 are better.

Thanks, A Mejias!!

I've try Google search and try number of links but since related to "Quadro FX500, lightwave, review" has a huge number of seacrh result and I can't find them in specific on Lightwave performance, so, I can't really get idea on improvement of this FX500 on Lightwave. ( what I pay for this card about USD250 and get how fast it is)

Any way thank you for your reply !! : )
