is there any way to get a hold of LightWave 9.6 Content files for newbies ?

i checked here > https://www.lightwave3d.com/account

but only LightWave 11 Content files are available...

asking as i made a preview of this LW9.6 Gregory Glezakos scene >

I have the 9.6.1 installer in my page. Not the content though. It seems like it'd be nice to get the old content so others can learn from what was new at the time. Current content usually only highlights the new features.

I have LightWave96_NewContent.zip. Is that what you're looking for? Dragons_Conductor/Conductor.lws is in there, along with the Rigs and Deltas. If so, you being a licensed LightWave user for ages, I wouldn't think it would be out of line to make it available in a password protected area on our FTP server, so that only you could get it.

thank you spherical,

i do have it, so it's no problem for me, but since i made the preview video above,
i thought it would be nice for LightWave newbies to pull the scene apart.

so haven't made the video available on YouTube just yet...

think i might just contact Mister Gregory Glezakos himself, ask for permission to attach the scene here... http://erikalstad.com/backup/misc.php_files/smile.gif

but still, there is are tons of good source files in the old LightWave content, i wonder why NewTek has not made it available for download ?

That I wonder too? making it available would expand on newbies and others capabilities to understand lightwave more and further on also gain knowledge faster in their learning curve.
So unless there is some copyright or economic reason stopping it, I just donīt see why they keep it away from the community.
