I have been trying to find BVH files with a female ballet dancer without any luck.

But since I found a few files in BIP format I have to ask if Lightwave can handle
these? As an alternative someone might know if these files can be converted
into BVH files or if even better someone knows where to find great ballet dancer
BVH files!

I have been trying to find BVH files with a female ballet dancer without any luck.

There's a handful of them in the CMU database, i've seen them... just not sure what other word they used to describe the file other than "Ballet"; likely categorized under "dance".

Note that in addition to having a spreadsheet available, there's also a reference page here so that the user can tell which files refer to what: https://sites.google.com/a/cgspeed.com/cgspeed/motion-capture/cmu-bvh-conversion/bvh-conversion-release---motions-list

It'll help to browse these files with BVH viewer: http://www.developmentinmotion.nl/software/bvhviewer/

Whoa... maybe I did this the wrong way! I tried these BVH files on a Genesis 2 female in DAZ. Planned to export the whole scene from DAZ to Lightwave 11.6. But it all looked like the female had broken all bones and lost her balance!
