I guess I'll pledge the 75$ to get the t-shirt !
But I've never taken part in KS before. For 75$, do wee just get the T-shirt, or the T-shirt+ the DVD ? That's not quite clear to me.

Edit : OK, I had not read carefully. Each pledge seems to get the benefits of the lower pledges.
So 75$ it will, as soon as I have received my latest TS payment.
:)

To my knowledge it's 100% LightWave

I would recommend posting some content, or even the kickstarter promo video on www.newgrounds.com , a site entirely dedicated to animated content of all mediums ... The user demographic fits the profile, it's 100% free advertising, and if it does well it will give your project more exposure than youtube or kickstarter ever would (exposure on that site is performance-based depending on user votes).

Other free promo ideas to consider:

- If there are any art galleries, post stills of the production there. Newgrounds also allows for this, but there are many other places out there.

- Focus any social media efforts (forums, groups, or otherwise) on sites that will yield the most impact for the least effort required. At least when I ran my kickstarter I was overwhelmed with the amount of social media stuffs I was managing and I feel that time could have been better spent elsewhere.

In any case, good luck! Some people make crowdfunding look easy... it certainly is not.

Post this on the IP club at the CGSociety and I will help promote it.
(And will protect it)

I'll pass the ideas on to Jeff... I'm sure he'll appreciate the feedback.

Cool to see LightWave'rs getting behind Jeff's campaign.... I'm excited to see him reach his goal and get to make the movie he's always wanted to make!

When I saw the screens with LightWave on them, I was over the moon - love the style - hope this gets funded ASAP.

He's off to a good start but definitely needs more traffic. I'm hoping Jeff gets some love from the LW community on his project. Was happy to see some familiar NewTek staff names in the backer list... very cool that they are supporting the project.
