View Full Version : Global Illumination colour

I have been working on some scenes that have mostly pure white elements. There is a big athletics track with a green field in the middle of a stadium. My issue is with the reflected light carrying too much colour off the field onto surrounding white objects. If there any way to filter the reflected light to be the light sources colour and not the surface?

Perhaps on the surface settings? I'm not sure how possible it is to intercept these rays or their effects and change any values other than number of rays or strength.

Help appreciated.

Also here is this guide which is a big help in understanding GI in LW:

Generally it is your indirect bounces that are giving you the bleed. Default is 2 I think. Higher numbers will create more bleed of color. You can set that to 1 and see if it solves it. Of course that could compromise quality. But you can play with it and see how tit looks in that scene.
