View Full Version : Unable to disable hub.

My LW 11.6.3 build 2737 hub appears to be stuck on, although it is not enabled anywhere that I can see. My desktop icons use the " -0" extension, and the Hub does not appear in Win7 processes or in the System Tray (and Hub is set to 'show icon' in Win notifications), but each time I save an object in Modeler, it auto-updates in Layout(?).

Maybe related- since I recently replaced a system drive, and upgraded to v11.6.3, LW is crashing often, and after the window closes, LW always remains active in processes, and I cant open any new instances of Layout or Modeler until I kill all LW related processes.

Any thoughts?

Try adding -i

That turns of the file watching.

Eh, nevermind. I missed that you were talking about LW9. The -i is for 10+.

"v9" was a typo (I'm using LW9.6 for something else at the moment). I meant LW11.6.3. I thought the " -I" had to do with configs, but that worked. What is that?

Isolate Mode. If you don't isolate, files that are updated and saved to disk are then read and updated in the application; without the Hub running. You only need one or the other command line switch. -c is for configs.

One thing you really never have to do on mac these days.

Thanks. Odd, I don't know why I never ran into this before.
