What problems would the team face if it decided to incorporate documentation in the app itself?

I.e. when considering which Motion Option to add to an object I must refer to the PDF. This can be a lengthy process. If I could see a summary when hovering my mouse over the plugin name, however, I would be able to move more quickly with less time spent looking in the PDF.

AKA "balloon help". Suggested many times.

I'm for it, but I'll see your suggestion and raise you "user-editable balloon help". It doesn't even have to be totally filled out: just placeholders for users to fill in.

"User-editable hyperlinked balloon help" : balloons can contain links to PDFs and/or websites.

"SHAREABLE User-editable hyperlinked balloon help".

So I wonder how to design a plugin to do this? I hear Master Plugins are über plugins which can do many wacky things.

AFAIK, it'd have to be done BELOW the UI level, like a reflex. IOW, not amenable to plugin-ation.

But what do I know?

Well then, please tell Rob Powers.
