Thanks for comments,

I had only 2 reference pictures and at the beginning
I was not sure which one to model Marlin or Nemo.
After watching the film I decided to bring him more
in Nemo shape. But only eyeballing from perspective
pictures is hard work.
It was a fun project and modeling so far took about
10 hours.

Nice model. This doesnt matter much, but if your going for the full Nemo look. He has one small fin and the other one is normal size.

Thanks
yes, you are right. Waterdrops would improve the picture.
Now the skin lookd a little bit plastic.

Nice work. I liek how the skin looks wet. Is it only me or does he look cross eyed?

Maybe you could try some of that translucency and pearlescent (sp?) shading. The model looks great though!

PS. and scales. he had scales.

Hi,
looks cool:)

but there was something bothering me and i could not point my finger to it, but then it hit me-
You would never see a fish like that relaxing like a boat out on the surface- it could not breed:)

but anyways, thats why we have lightwave- to do crazy things:)

cool image!:)

cool really nice the droplet effect looks really cool but don't know if it fits water usally doesn't bead on a fish especially in the water it looks great so did the firt without the water..hmmmm suggestion ...place the tail in thw water not so much on top

Great! I think at this moment is a little bit plastic, maybe some translucency in the fins/tail.

for the movie to acheive emotion in an otherwise emotionless species, the animation team gave the fish brows. they add character to the fish by humanizing them a bit. try adding some sort of human characteristic to give him a little more personality.
