Why is half of my static object passing through the deforming object. I'm trying to cover a face with a cloth type object and the nose keeps sticking through.

Without seeing what you're working with, I can guess a handful of reasons for this. Here are two:

Are you using subpatch objects? I think Bullet only sees the un-subpatched geometry. If this is the case, make a separate mesh of just the face, freeze it and parent it to the head bone. Then use that for collision instead of the whole character mesh. You may find the results more accurate and much quicker calculating.

Or maybe the cloth needs to be further sub-divided? Of course, I mean sub-dividing the base object in Modeler, not increasing sub-D level in Layout.

The Cloth has quite a few polys. But yes the head is subpatched. I'll try your suggestion and see what happens. Thanks for the help!
