Speed Modeling Challenge #262 - Objects of the future

Rules:
1. Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
2. Post a wire-frame and a render at 800x600 or larger. (For wireframe help go to: http://www.artssphere.com/plugins/polygoncoloring.php
3. LightWave must be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug-ins are allowed.
4. You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
5. Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.
6. The winner is judged by the challenge starter and the prize is to set up the challenge after next week's.

XswampyX, interesting image but I'm not 100% sure how this relates to the topic at hand... Do you mean in the future we will have burials on the moon, or are you predicting some sort of space disaster, or some sort of religious meaning here? I love the lunar landscape though :).

Glad you liked it.

It relates to the burial of a human being, but on another planet/moon than the one they were born on. It will happen, so it's 'an object from the future'.
It's a sort of statement on the greatness of humanity and also the frailty of the individual. The total sum of what we can achieve is limitless, but on a individual basis, it's quite futile.....

Or summat.

Very nice XswampyX, I have to admit that I didn't have exactly that in mind when I set the title of the challenge ,yet it is certainly related to the topic.

Since you're giving it another week, here I go. I started on about 4 different ideas but kept running out of time so I had to go with something simple until my modeling skills catch up with my imagination :)

Since the next challenge has not been posted yet (tomorrow will be a week since someone was supposed to post a challenge) should I post challenge #263 on Thursday or should I wait?
