If you do Character Animation in Lightwave say present and post a link, if possible.
I'd like to have an idea of how much people does CA in lightwave actually :).

I still do nearly all my CA in LightWave. While I've done quite a bit of work with mocap and Motion Builder, I've probably done just as much CA using traditional keyframing in Lightwave. My demo reel (https://vimeo.com/64145283) features only some of my Lightwave CA (KF and mocap) but it covers a broad range of styles.

Lately for work, I've been doing a lot of creature animations in LightWave--all hand-keyframed, no mocap. Then, of course, we have our own Little Green Dog projects like the cg 'Brudders' shorts, which are mostly Lightwave. We're still experimenting with 'homebrew' mocap for Brudders but also mixing in keyframed CA when it's necessary.

I have a question because I'm not good at English, the video you post totally done with LightWave? and still LW is your main tool for CA?
It looks very nice,so I want to ask.

That video, and everything i've published online is almost all Lightwave with very, very few exceptions. Example: royalty free models procured from NASA are made in 3DSmax. Some 2d elements (the room fading, electrocution) are either composited or hand-painted, whichever is faster.

I used to do all my work 100% hand-keyed, but since i've discovered motion capture workflows i've been using that for any motions that don't demand the level of detail hand-keying allows... especially handy when you're asked to animate 4-5 characters in a shot.

Greenlaw, your reel is absolutely jaw dropping for me! Wicked to read for which productions you have been working. Wondering for which parts you used LW. I admire your artistic talent and technical experience. Also your Brudders style is so cool!

I should clarify that I didn't to all the character animation on that reel--on most 'Rhythm & Hues - Box' productions, I worked with a team of artists and, being generalists, each of us might have worked on various aspects of any given shot. But as for which shots were done in LightWave, any of the earlier productions, like Mercedes Beast and Banjo Kazooie, were done entirely in LightWave. I'm not sure I remember when the Box switched to Maya for CA but I think it's safe to say, if the work was done between 2001 and 2009, it was all Lightwave. After that, we animated characters in Maya but almost anything else was still animated in Lightwave. Rendering was done in Lightwave and Vue right up until we closed our doors.

In the past year, as a freelancer, I've been doing all my CA work (mostly creatures) in Lightwave. I haven't posted any of it online but will probably put together another reel at the end of this year.

Right now I'm trying to make time to finish our Brudders music video (https://vimeo.com/68543424), which is a mixture of mocap (ipi Mocap Studio and Motion Builder,) and hand keyframed CA (Lightwave.) Modeling was Lightwave and Modo, hair and fur is Lightwave and ZBrush, rigging, dynamics and rendering is all Lightwave. (There's more info about this project in the 'B2' (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?133274-The-Brudders-2-Production-Log-%28Well-sort-of-%29) thread.)

Obviously, I use a lot of different programs in my work, but Lightwave is still my primary 3D application.

I slapped this together quickly as a rig test like 3 years ago. I'm not hot on the lil' hops at the beginning but I was testing out stretchy IK on the feet and an automated switch for the wings to fold, pose, and flap.
