The quick deformers are most impressive. Looks like the guy just threw some "blocks" in there and presto, it just works.

looks okay, similar workflow to biped or CAT in 3dsmax but the U.I has lots of things that have minimal labeling with just S on them
however it looks to deform well straight away.

so PRICE is next up....anyone else thinking $2000?
or...$1000?

that voodoo video looks petty good...i do wonder how much that app will sell for though
ex in house studio tools usually go for $$$+
like Katana which the foundry don't even list a price for...so i guess it's mega bucks

nah, i think it looked so-so... :l

because...?
12 minutes to do a rig like that with heat generated and smoothed weights in a streamlined environment for it is really nice.

I just wonder how portable is the rig.

Looks pretty great to me.

Also bear in mind that because the weights were generated with capsules as opposed to actual weight maps, the rig is not geometry dependant, which is a plus in my book

But that is a concern. Can you bake the weight maps and paint them if you want? This is important as sometimes really small ammounts of wrong weights can cause issues and you really need to go down and paint.

Hey I'm all for procedural approaches to weight map generation, I just don't want to be cut out of putting my hands on what's happening :)

Supposedly Voodoo inspired people over in Maya camp with Delta Mush:
