View Full Version : Wast flooding sweeps cities in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia

Hi everyone,

during the weekend these countries have been hit really hard by enormous floods caused by days and days of heavy rain. I have spoken to my family who are living nearby after a whole day of not knowing their whereabouts as they were completely cutoff living near a river in my hometown and thanks to great luck and some ahead planning they only suffered minor damages to the property, but they are safe and sound.

Many, however, were not that lucky. Thousands of people lost everything they have and are in need of blankets, tents, water, baby food and other essential items. Damages are great and it will take years to recover. In short, it's bad very bad.

I know we have have a few members from these areas, I hope they and their families are safe.

Serbia seems to be hit the hardest, followed by Republic of Srpska from what I've seen.
