Where has this been all my life?

Would it be at all possible to have different reduction strengths at different parts of the scene? 25 from 1 to 50; 10 from 51 to 150; and 25 from 151 to 200 for example?

with a few different algorithms, you could have the workings of a noise removal set of tools for mocap data as well.....interesting

Well... this tool can function that way already. Effectively... that is. You would need extra code to replace keys, thus creating an smart smooth which maintained key density... but if you keep the keys as spline interpolated, you already get much of this functionality as is.

It would be also very usefull if you can set where the keyframes will be. Example: we will have keys only at frames 10- 20 - 30 ( step 10 ) or 0-5-10-15 ( step 5 use ). This would make a lot easier to edit mocap as hand key animation. Of course it changes a little the motions, but it makes really too easy to edit it.
