I have done a couple of searches but not having any success. I am trying to modify an endomorph by the amount of light that falls on it. First problem is it cant be directly measure from source as there may be interruptions (objects between source and detection) and second it has to include all light sources.

Any Ideas?

Does it have to be endomorphs? can it be displacement instead? That way you could make sequence of a surface baked images and use that as the displacement.

do not think that is possible realtime, but you could parent a particle emitter to a light i guess, then make the particles deform the surface.

then use particle paint by DPont >

it could work, it depends on the result you need...

...or do what Danner suggests, use baked images, then use Normal Displacement Morph >

I might have come up with a reasonable solution. The usage was for making pupils dilate in response to bright light or after a blink. After placing the light intensity to an envelope I can then use expressions and then use another expression for the blink. Not elegant but is working, only draw back is the light being enveloped.

Thanks for the reply's
