Hi!

can you send scene/models (you can do "package scene" so iw will put all into one folder) so we cna check ? It definitely looks weird but not sure why.

Also Welcome to LW :).

I would check whether there are 1-2 point polygons. Similar result I would expect if there would be unseen polygons influencing calculation of normal vectors.
So, press Merge Points and Unify Polys and check again.

Thanks Lewis & Sensei
Here is my scenes zip file120309

To Sensei:I just create a simply cylinder and have checked unify polys option

Forgive my English

I see where is problem...

Do you want to look it like this?

Yeah,that is what I want!
What is my problem?
Thanks

Problem is order of points in geometry made by Disc tool.

Make circle using Ball tool, 0 height.
Then select edges, extender plus, then offset to top.
Then use multiply > array.

Thanks Sensei,You are a genius!
It works!

Yes Sensei is right, for some reaosn Disc tool is making it like two halves so order of points is weird/different.

In case you don't want to re-model new geometry (or your real oen is much more complicated than this example) you could try to go with Instancing at Points instead polys and tweak it by offset to get this result

cheers

Disc is not the only tool exhibiting this. Box, Sphere are also failing.

To Lewis
I will not go to Point Type for some reason
You may notice I have some bone with animation at frame 10,and you will also find that instancers would have an bank rotation with Type set to Point,THAT is why I like polygons type.

In the other hand,IF my model is complex, how to deal with it?
Thanks

I have made video tutorial with your scene as example.
