View Full Version : Genoma rigging problem

All I can say is she had a little "incident" with the genome rig. I import the Genoma rig, move the arms, thumb and index finger to about the right place. I add weight maps (I checked and double checked the maps and the setting on the bones) and go to test the deformation. It acts like the 3rd thumb bone is attached to the end of the second index finger bone. I can't find a reason for it, but then again I'm still new at this whole lightwave workflow (especially rigging). This has also happened before where I move a neck bone and a finger bone goes with it. So it has happened randomly enough that I can't assume it isn't me doing something dumb.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. <Insert "giving the finger" joke here.>
