Hai All,

I just started using lightwave few days ago, and was wondering if there's any manual for beginner. Or anybody can recommend any books ? coz i'm really totally blind to lightwave. But i'm very interested to learn it.

Anything from manual to very simple tutorial will do.:D

Thanks

If extremely new there are some Videos from newtek that could be of help. Well I couldn't find those videos on the FTP server. But
here's another link

http://members.shaw.ca/lightwavetutorials/Main_Menu.htm

From there you can find numerous links.

Also go to the Downloads sections of http://www.3dbuzz.com/

There are VTM downloads for Lightwave that covers the basics.

Dan Ablan has put out some fantastic stuff on LightWave. I've got one of his books and my GFX guys love it. I think one of them sleeps with it!
I don't have a number handy, but I'm sure you can locate him with a search.

Yes Dan Ablan has a book called "Inside Lightwave 7."NOw it aint cheap ($100 Canadian) but it is well worth the price.I would be lost withought it.Very straight forward and teaches you even if you've never opened up lightwave where everything is.
