Hello,

Just released my new Dutch Skies 360 Volume 5: http://www.bobgroothuis.com/blog/?p=7985

A free sIBL/HDRI set is currently sIBL set of the month at HDRLabs http://www.hdrlabs.com/news/index.php?id=2690683916811714984 . Next to that wrote a little making of and even added some original source files for those who want to start with (HDRI) panorama stitching.

Greetings

Bob

Thanks very much, on my list to do for this year is making my own poor man's HDRI, I have a second hand Nikon D90 now. I can work with the demo versions of Photomatix and PTGui and I have LittleCMS Colour Translator, Photoshop is out so I'll be using PhotoLine. I see that LightRoom is standalone, but I just don't trust Adobe not to go ****ing around with the licensing so I'll probably give that a wide berth and see what I can get done otherwise.

Ha, they look very good and I may just pick them up, but even if I had all the top HDRIs in the world, I'd still be going out to make my own for my own enjoyment rather than professional application. :)

Indeed. Some commercial projects require custom-made lightprobes as well, so this kind of tutorials are always interesting :)
