View Full Version : editting geometry after it is created

In 3ds max I was able to add segments and adjust parameters after a primitive was created. Cna you do the same in LW. And if so how? I have searched through the giant white book that came with my LW but I have found nothing.

Any help appreciated

Not possible as LW has no history stack. Once a primitive has been created it is just points and polygons. So if you want to add detail you have to get down and dirty with the mesh itself. Try Bandsaw or Knife if you just want to add more segments.

Don't hesitate to ask even more specific questions.

An easy way to do it is to use subdivide (shift-d) but you won't be able to add segments to just one side, it will add it to the whole object. Of course, you can just select the side/s you want to run subdivide on and do it that way.

thanks ill try sub-d....making the switch has been harder than I thought it would be.
