View Full Version : Thoughts on Texturing a Large Space Station

Hi, I am currently working on an independent sci-fi short film for which the client requires a large space station--something I haven't really attempted before.
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to how to begin the process of texture mapping and how to organize my textures. I am still in the modelling phase and there are many more details to be added, but this image should give you some idea of what I am working with at the moment. The aesthetic of the station is rather lived-in and trashy as opposed to pristine.

Any hints or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you!
