I spent some time breaking out a scene for reflections, shadows etc and the client has informed me that the camera needs a bit of nudging at one particular point. I can Load Item From Scene for this but in future when breaking scenes out like this, is there a way for the Camera (or any other item) to reference moves from another Scene so I don't have to update each custom scene?

As far as I know the answer is NO. Wish it were different.

You could see if this works.

Thanks, I'm seeing reference to this in more and more old threads so will give it a whirl.

Thinking about it, I vaguely remember Cageman doing a video tutorial a few years ago, something about an IK setup with nulls in world space and other scenes being able to read the changes (or something like that!). But can I find it.... Not yet....

--never mind, my idea was stupid.

Looks like a job for a pass controller.

Found it (and its still a great little tut, thanks Cageman)! It uses Reference Motion as you pointed out, ernpchan. Hopefully it'll work on the mac. Fingers crossed.

Update for those interested. Theres a separate script specifically for the Camera that can be downloaded here:

Some nice scripts in there, a lot of which are still relevant.
