hi. i have a scorpion like alien creature. i control it's tail with a genoma spine parented to the root. i have been working with this for some time yet recently it began to be uncontrollable. in that even .5 degrees wraps it up like a frightened worm. i have rebuilt the skelligons from scratch 4 times. i have tried different spines. no joy. what am i missing? is there a place i can go where there are experts on genoma and perhaps more functional parts can be downloaded?

Did your input device change (mouse/wacom)? Depending on what you're using and if your input options aren't set right, control sensitivity can go haywire.

Check the dimensions of your workspace grid, perhaps the values are too small?

If you've SCALED your mesh, the effects of the bones are changed. (!!!) Quite markedly in fact.

(Or so I found once.)

My pleasure. --I think that means one must use the Root bone to scale the mesh after it's got a skeleton in Layout. That doesn't sound right though...

Giggity.
