ALEMBIC SUPPORT

When polygons get to zero scale their associated instances should disappear,
0 size == 0 scale
At present instancing evaluates in object space, so if you deform the polygon mesh the evaluated size is taken from the undeformed shape.
To be able to scale based on the deformed size of the mesh to solve bug 67310 or for various special effects , we've added a checkbox to evaluate polygon size either deformed or undeformed.

NODE EDITOR

Addressed Case 67204 Probe tool does not pickup info from stock input node in Nodal Motion. It is now possible for the probe tool to attempt to evaluate input nodes. However, these values are dependent on the context of the evaluation, so most of the time the probe will reveal values of '0' on the Input node.


RENDERING/VPR

Fixed Case 66626 VPR and F9 render issue.

LightWave 11.6 Change Log - October 29 2013

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR THIS RELEASE

ITEM INFO NODE CHANGE

Prior to 11.6, the Item Info node would rely on Object Names. Now it relies on Object IDs.

What this means is that the "Item Info" node will no longer break upon multiple
load-from-scenes. However in order get this benefit, you must first load the scene into
LightWave 11.6, save it. And then this updated file can be used with 11.6's Load From Scene
without encountering item references being lost.

PARTICLE_FX ALIGN TO PATH CHANGE

In the past, PFX's Align to Path generated a rotation that was 180 degrees off. The
alignment for Particle_FX's Align to Path option will be correct now, however,
existing scenes which relied on the incorrect behavior will need adjusting.


KNOWN ISSUE

DPX Floating-Point Fusion: Due to a bug in Digital Fusion's DPX saver. FP DPX files from
Digital Fusion are not compatible with LightWave's .dpx loader.

11.6.1 Targetting Bug?
Load an object into Layout
Click Camera -> Setup -> Motion options -> Target object
The Camera is targeted to Layout Origin not the assigned object.
