Smith Micro sent out a newsletter with the following:

L'Arte Della Felicita (The Art of Happiness) is a thought-provoking animated drama for adults set on the mean streets of Naples. It was created using Anime Studio and Poser.

Is that done solely in Poser and Anime Studio? If so, I am duly impressed. Does anyone know more about the technical background of this production?

Wow! Apparently it was done with Smith Micro software. It doesn't mention them by name, but it does talk about a small American company backing them. It is simply amazing.

Here's a site about the film and director;

and a Hollywood Reporter review of the debut of the film in the Venice Film Festival (Spoilers)

It must be a case of the artistry and abilities of the creators surpassing the software being used, you can't really see or identify what programs might've been used, so it's a wonderful achievement for the filmmakers.
