what happened to package scene in 11.6?

it was under the file menu in 11.5, under export, but now it's just gone.

Should be in the same place as it was in 11.5, nothing was changed in that regard.

File > Package Scene

You are in the load scene, you need to be in File> save> scene> save > bottom of list is package scene.

It was missing with 11.51 for me. Had it with 11.5 & it's back with 11.6!

Reset your menus. Go into the Presets dropdown in the Edit Menus window and choose Default.

one of those is a screen shot of 11.5 and one is 11.6.

Well, Matt certainly expects it in the Default config, and since he created them, they should be there.

There's one thing: Package Scene was a plugin, and IIRC it was changed to a PYTHON script (at least, on windows). If you've got any Python wierdness, or you haven't loaded that script/plugin, I don't think it will appear in its proper place.

well, i found the script in a few older lightwave folders. it lives in the generic folder inside the utility plug-ins folder. the generic folder of my copy of 11.6 was empty.

i added it in and it's now in my list of plug ins. i'll just put it in the menu where it should go. strange

The lscript or the Python?
