View Full Version : Subsurface weirdness with 11.6

I opened an old scene that used the Simple Skin node. It worked pretty nice back then in what ever version of Lightwave I did it in. But it looks like rubbish in 11.6. I have yet to download the latest version of 11.6 so perhaps this has been fixed now. Does anyone no if subsurface is working good now in the very latest version of LW?

Also what are people using for SSS these days?

Yes works fine. Don't forget about the shading sampling settings ;). The skin nodes have also changed a bit since they where introduced. I use the Sigma nodes a lot.
