Rules:
1.Every week there will be a subject for you to model along with a time limit. You should spend no longer than the allocated time, then post a render of your model. As in most challenges like this, your honesty on modelling times is essential. How you interpret the brief is up to you as long as the final model conforms to what is asked for.
2.Post a wire-frame and a render at 800x600 or larger. (For wireframe help go to: http://www.artssphere.com/plugins/polygoncoloring.php)
3.LightWave must be used for modelling. 3rd party Plug-ins are allowed.
4.You can enter as many times as you like, posting each in this thread. If you run over the time, the model can still be posted but won't be subject to the judging.
5.Time spent on texturing, setting up a scene for a render and rendering is not included in the allocated period.
6.The winner is judged by the challenge starter and the prize is to set up the challenge after next week's.

*************************************************
This week's topic: Hot air balloon. Show us your best designs for a hot air balloon. It can be the boring standard one, or a custom one made to your own design.

timelimit: 60 min.
Deadline: Wednesday 4th December, 2013 22:00 CST

Have fun!

Sorry for the delay, my ISP had an 'upgrade'.

That looks beautiful ANS.

Interest always drops off this time of year, must be the holidays or something?

It will hopefully pick up after every one makes their new years resolution to actually do something next year. :)

I probably would have tried this one but time is very limited with the holidays getting in the way.

Very nice ANS!!

It's a tough week here in the US. I am personally just getting back in town from nearly a week away for the Thanksgiving day holiday.
That being said, XsX I hope you're right. Seems like it's been very quite in here for a couple of months.

I'm still raring to go!

Thanks for praise, guys :D
Everyone is busy, so only I had a time to make a small entry.
But, anyway i'm unemployed now, and looking for a new job...

:santa: :stumped: ...some kind of centralised(?) email/subscribe notice for challenges would help but I'm otherwise sub-ing to this one and hope to see a link for the next one in this thread. TA!

Hello, folks! Pantagrool here -- glad to see we have a winner! I will begin the next challenge on Wednesday (tomorrow). This is my very first time as Challenge Master. Let it be known that I am easily offended, I cry without warning, and am as nervous as a tiny dog on espresso, so I would truly appreciate an awesome turnout for Challenge #241!
