Does anyone have any advice on the best place to purchase Lightwave-native (LWO) models and related items? I've checked out this forum thread (http://forums.newtek.com/showthread.php?132431-Do-you-buy-3d-models-online) and done some googling, and it seems most roads lead back to TurboSquid, however their stuff seems pretty pricey. Are their prices high or is it just me? Also, native Lightwave stuff seems rather sparse.

I've purchased one or two models from other sources but (1) they're in OBJ format which is a pain to import and (2) I haven't been overly impressed with the quality. I'm sure TurboSquid's stuff is better, but I wondered if there were any other great sources out there that I haven't stumbled across.

At the moment household items: Appliances and furniture. Rooms I can build, but a good washing machine, sofa or bed... that takes time.

I would look at all the free model sites there are out there to see if you can find things you're looking for. I also am creating household models as part of a library of presets for the plug-in LWCAD(you can see the link in my signature). Once I finish an update I'm working on, I think I will be releasing the .lwo files for sale also pretty cheap. For now, here's a link to some free model sites: http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/60-excellent-free-3d-model-websites/
