I am having the hardest time adapting to LW after using max. So sorry for my noob questions. But I am creating (trying) a kinda futuristic monitor kind of thing. I want to know how can I curve or round the screen kinda like on the CRT monitors how it has that curvature. I know in make I can do a soft selection or use ffd. Is there anything comparable in LW 7.5c or a method?

Modeler's BEND tool will do the trick, or you could draw a spline or draw a 2-point poly-chain. Extrude either (making them in the top view) [[going from -x to +x]] then extrude them into the negative (or positve) y direction.

many ways to do what you want.

peace!

or...

C
make a lo res screen hit the tab key and in point mode move the centre point outward...

then you can freeze the model in that state if you wish.

Magnet (or move tool with Radial falloff). Right-click and drag to set area of influence, check numeric panel for falloff shape.
