you mean path ? There is Director/Path tool in Flocking if that's what you mean ?

I know, they follow the path but are not aligned to it, they stay horizontal.

Go to instancign panel and for Rotation of instances under Target Item choose your director (path) and "look at" settings for Target mode

:)

Now if we could somehow make them twist and roll (RollerCoaster style) liek path director goes that woudl be even better but I've not found way to do that yet :(.

Hm, I have just noticed that agents are aligned by default to the paths x and z axis but not y, meaning they always point horizontally.

Look at this image, agents are going down but are still oriented horizontaly.

P and B turn rate are default set to 0 which prevents them to rotate around those axis. I had to set them to something other than 0. That was the problem.

I thought it was because the director was set to goal and not to path?

Scaling generator Null is a big NO, NO ! I scaled my sphere generator in Z axis to get a cigar shape generator, it messed all up with aligning agents, leave generator null scale at 1,1,1 and use scaling factors in Flocking menu.
