How do I restore my Lightwave 11.6 Layout Menu to it's default "original" menu layout. I accidentally added a tab that erased everything from view. Now I can not access the Configure Menu Command. I can't access ANY MENU or COMMAND.

you can always trash your config files or use the shortcut ctrl f10 if i'm not mistaking....

thanks but...Ctrl F10 did not work. Where can i find the config files on a Mac and what are they called?

You probably need to turn of the mac f key functions to make that work. Maybe it's cmd f10?
I don't know where they are on a mac but what I remember is that the are somewhere in a hidden folder in the user dir.

ANSWER. if you create a folder called "preferences" in the lightwave programs folder and launch lightwave layout or modeler the program will look at the newly created folder and see nothing there and will re-create a default config file with the original menus etc...

'Preferences' can also be an alias to a different location. That's how I use it.
