This is something I hope to have done relatively soon, but I'll go ahead and provide the link here on the Lightwave forums. This is a 100% free guide (no ads, I promise) that may be distributed and used without restriction.

If anyone has any comments on formatting, usability, readability, browser compatibility issues, or anything, feel free to chime in so that I can make the changes early! Expect this to be completed by this weekend. Also, expect insanely high quality IKBooster training material to be available in the near future :)

That looks like the one. @Ryan -- a ton of great information in there btw. its fantastic to see this crystallizing from your sessions in practice and in the LWUG meetings. Larry would be proud my man, he'd be proud indeed.

I have uploaded the completed version of the manual. If any changes or corrections are needed (I'm sure a few grammar/spelling errors are present) let me know! Enjoy.

You may need to refresh the page to see these changes.

- Registered the page under the Creative Commons 0 license via http://creativecommons.org/ and added a tag to the foreword section. (Creative Commons 0 means I have legally waived all my rights to this content, and anyone may use/modify it as they see fit).
- Added "Set Goal" which I forgot about because it only appears while an item is fixed.
- added "back to top" buttons for convenient mouse-only browsing.
- Added extra notes to BakeSpots regarding their static frame range property (does not change with changes to FPS).
- Added a shameless plug to my commercial tutorial content at the very bottom of the manual page :)

looks interesting, and you are marketing the IK booster nicely, you shouldn´t have accepted commercials from youtube to showcase this though:) :) that was annoying...just as I am:)

Ads are disabled for the promo video and were disabled before it was published, so I wouldn't know why YouTube should still be showing ads for it.

Oh..I shouldn´t discuss that here and go of topic from your topic really, but youtube seem to screw up some things lately ...which I have a started a thread on here on the forums,
but yes..before I could watch the clip from you, there was a commercial running before it, and had to wait before I could click it away..so things aren´t working smoothly over there in
youtube land.

Good luck with the promotion on these, it seems valuable.

Thanks for letting me know... I'll be sure to put my next promotional on Vimeo and primarily share that next time I do something like this. Google has really been screwing up with YouTube lately.

Update:

Added a small note on Auto Apply (thanks Dodgy for pointing it out!)

Details: When bakespots are in the timeline, Auto Apply performs a "Flat Apply" for the range of that bakespot if your playhead rests within it, and the auto apply range before and after that bakespot will use a "Linear" apply. This is what makes editing animations that utilize bakespots a much simpler process. It should be noted that if the playhead rests between 2 bakespots, the Auto Apply function will operate only between them to prevent undesired wrecking of bakespot-driven motions. These factors do not affect manually-performed Apply Keys operations.

That's about as simply as I can describe it in text, it makes much more sense in application and used in conjunction with relative motion loading.

Update: Added a small note about IKBooster and "FSPE" checkbox option found in the preferences window in the General Tips section. Explanation:

FSPE (Full Scene Parameter Evaluation) can cripple IKBooster's performance (among many other things) to the point of uselessness when manipulating complex rigs and it is strongly recommended that the user have it disabled. Enable it only as needed. Unfortunately, it can be easy to accidentally enable this since the preferences panel has a hidden hotkey that can trigger it on/off.
