A 1960's classic cartoon, now made 3D, and so lost it's charm. The animation is smooth, the designs nice, but it has lost something.

Not to date myself, but...

Boy, does THAT take me back to childhood memories, along with Rocky and Bullwinkle, Boris and Natasha, et al. Though I agree, being more "modern" doesn't necessarily make it better.

Yes, it's lost Jay Ward, it's his sense of humor that made this live for us!
Do any of you guys remember fractured flickers?

Once again the movies are taking animation meant to be simple, like the flintstones, and turning it into another bloated mess out of touch with it's roots.

Thanks Shrox for the warning. One word, "yuk". More laughs in that short end clip of R & BW than that whole Peabody trailer, and better design too.

For some reason, I have always liked the end credits, the marquees are neat.

One of the main reasons it Worked originally, was that it poked fun at an historical event or person - made a few terrible (great) puns - and got out of there. A couple of minutes tops. The same reason that movies built on Sat Night Live characters die so hidiously when stretched into movie length.
Meant to be brief!
Unlike the message I just typed :0

And the voice of Edward Everett Horton was always interesting and humorous in itself...

Oh, and don't forget Dudley Do-Right...

It looked OK. not great, but IOK. I thought something looked weird about Sherman's face in some of the scenes.
