Has Newtek considered an Android version of this great tool? For Samsung Tablets, or smartphones?

It's probably not possible to make iVGA for Android. Unlike desktop operating systems, most tablet operating system's sandbox the applications so that they are limited in what they can do. Having an application that can see the interface of other applications is blocked because it can be a security issue.

From what I've read some Android devices have OS level support for Miracast, which sounds like it would do what you are looking for. However, I'm not aware of any Miracast receivers for Windows or OSX (then you could use iVGA as a bridge).

So a Miracast version of the Net input would be great.
Also, it would be awesome if you could export the external Audio Control to an Android app, not just iPad.

There is a 3th party solution available:

Regarding Miracast: What i understand when reading some miracast specs is, that miracast is wifi (special wifi) only, miracast is not able to work over standard ethernet (not wired and not wireless). For tricaster this would mean a own special miracast wifi hardware woule be needed directly installed in or connected to a tricaster.
