We would love to see Newtek develop a carry on system.
A Tricaster small enough to carry on to a plane without going through special handling with roadcases.
I've mentioned this many time in conversations, in training and at various meetings at Newtek, but they seem to be getting bigger all the time.
There are units from Livestream (HD500) and Streamstar (webcast case) and Rushworks REMO, that show this is possible, but they are certainly lacking in proper production software tools like Newtek has.
this would make for an excellent platform for the Tricaster 40 or something close to it
Im sure NEXT could come up with something for you guys

I just was on a system with the SSD drive and all I can saw is WOW! The system boot fast, but better than that, loading Animation Store transitions, Virtual Sets and Animated Buffers is faster as well.

Restore is much faster, too (this will be especially useful for rental outfits).

We were just discussing that today - We take our 455/40 range on flights worldwide. They are easily damaged in transit so its not just a size situation also. We've had ours in for repair several times this year - the latest being the CMOS battery compartment falling to pieces.

I have faith that you guys are working on this behind the magic wall....makes total sense to have a "Tricaster Traveler" I could do 10X the demos....
