Hi,

I'm not sure if this issue has been raised before, but there seems to be a couple of problems with twisting the bank angle of the nodes of a Spline Control in LW11.6.

As the bank angle is increased from 0 up to 90 degrees on one spline node the shape of the twist is smoothly spread between the two spline nodes (see attached image 1). Which is what you'd expect.

However, as the bank angle is increased further, the twist progressively bunches up towards the centre until, at 179 degrees, the twist is confined to a just a small section (see attached image 2).

Also, if the bank angle is set to 180 degrees (or greater) the direction of the twist suddenly flips (see attached image 3). If you animate, say a camera, along the spline, you'll see that it rotates in the opposite direction compared to when the node's bank angle was <180 degrees.

The knock-on effect of all this is that you cannot perform a multi-turn twist between two consecutive nodes, but instead have to insert extra nodes to "spread" the twist across these nodes for a smooth, non-flipping, twist.
