hi

i have used a weight map to create a matte on an object in it surface node. this is plugged into the extra buffers node and piped into an unused channel.
the scene is setup to render with motion blur.
in image processing i am exporting the extra buffer using dpont plugins ( ive tried pnf + inf ).

the matte however has no motion blur. how can i render it with a matching motion blur ????

i know the work around might be to render without motion blur and create a motion vector pass in the extra buffers....
then apply RSMB in after effects but i would like to know the answer anyhow.

any takers ?

Seperate scene and make matt from object properties.

that kinda defeats the whole ability of exporting multiple passes from 1 scene.
not your suggestion , lightwave defeats it :D
