I really hope they don't ruin it. :)

Can't help thinking about Team America when I watch old Thunderbirds clips. :)

But if it's going to be CGI it's going to ruin the silly retro charm Thunderbirsd had. It must be really good looking but still jerky and somewhat lame looking, I think
it's not easy to do in 3D where things have a smoothed out tendency.

captain scarlet was okay when converted to CGI using lightwave.

Yeah, I liked CAptain Scarlet. I think Thunderbirds could be good if handled like that show was. The thing to be concerned about is that the production doesn't stray from the accepted history too much.

Not so sure.
I was at Gerry's wake at Henley, after his Reading funeral.
I think that a period piece could be ruined, look what happended
to Dan dare @ Sony.
Gerry was trying squeeze extra juice out as his last illness
took hold, you can't blaim him. R.I.P.
Anyway after all the stuff we built for the orginals & the
all nighters dressing sets, its a retro piece surely.

Let's face it Ian, the original series survived that dreadful movie without harm, so I'm sure it will endure as a classic whatever the new series is like. ;)

My sister in law works in marketing for London Weekend Television (the company rebooting this) it's all she ever deals with at the moment yet I have never once been that interested to ask any details, loved the original as a kid but thought the comic strips by Frank Bellamy were way more classy

I, being of the geeze, started with Supercar. If Gerry's name was on it, I was there. It was what had first caught my mind to fact that people made and did all of those wonderful things. For me, it was the begining of FX.

Actually, a D.I.D. would be appropriate for the characters as opposed to MoCap. I so want to see it... coming in 2015!
