View Full Version : 2point poly with bullet needs to stop stretching. How?

Like the title points out I've some trouble getting my 2point poly chain to stop stretching. I'm using 11.6 latest beta. I've tried every value in the bullet dynamics but non of them seem to control the stretchiness. Can someone help me? I attached the scene. Is this a bug or is it just me being stupid?

I don't think the Bullet dynamics system understands 2pt polys. I found that if you try connecting 2 blocks of geometry with a two point poly bullet will still see them as separate parts while HardFX and DP Kit's Part Move see them as one big part because the 2pt poly connects them.

Hair guides are 2 point poly chains as well if I'm not mistaking. Or are these things little strips of polys? Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-kQRSsaCpg

I just discovered when the distance between the points is not equal, then the 2point poly chain will bounce. When the distance is equal it won't bounce.
Why is this?
