View Full Version : Where did Information-Statistics go?

There used to be a tab on the bottom of modeler called Information where you could get the number of polygons, etc. It seems to be gone in 11.5. It was useful for eliminating single and double point polys. Does anyone know where it went or how to see the statistics of a mesh?

It's gone from the menu ... try w

It's available from the Windows menu, but yes w is the keyboard shortcut. I always make my main Modeler window a little narrower than the screen and have the Numeric, Stats and Layers windows always open. If you set them up like that and close Modeler, next time you run it the windows will be there.

You can re-instate that tab, edit menu and configure your menu, do a search in configure menu for statistics and you will find them,(located in windows section) drag them with the mouse (or click assign button)to the right side menu´s under bottom edge/bottom edge and you
will have assigned them back again.
You can also reconfigure back the old way of selection buttons for poly, edges, and points if you prefer that since many people is feeling a little awkward with that.
