Hi,

I am using a Radeon 7970 card and pretty happy with it. Just like to know if it is possible to add an Nvidia card for CUDA calculations instead of totally replacing it.

Any pointers is much appreciated.

Thanks

I would imagine not...

My system has ATI onboard and an nvidia card (well, 2 nvidia cards). No matter how I tried fiddling things, I could only ever get either nvidia or ati to work, never both together. If thats just an ati/nvidia thing, or perhaps the fact that the ati is an onboard I dont know.. but my suspicion is its a no.

Strange.... It works here. I originally set it up to work with the Octane renderer and It works fine. But for Lightwave the ATI card is just too darn s l o w .

Thanks for the feedback guys,

Xswampyx, very interesting. Exactly the kind of configuration I was thinking about...
