DC_normaldrag might be close.

I don't know of anything in LightWave that'll be this interactive with so much user control. I've seen this type of control via a Japanese plugin for Maya too.

there we go! thanks. http://erikalstad.com/backup/misc.php_files/smile.gif

Celshading in LightWave has really reach a new height this year! Great stuff!

using the WeightPaintTool (32) might make it slightly interactive...

too bad weightpaint or lightwave's layout functions can't blur without going via modeler though...

Painting the lines into the map/geo?

Sure. Sometimes I stencil the lines into the geo so I'm not relying on the resolution of the image map.

just wanted to make sure you knew about it, and was also curious if so on your opinion on it http://forums.cgsociety.org/images/smilies/arteest.gif

i'm glad displacing the shadow works in LightWave, wasn't quite sure http://erikalstad.com/backup/misc.php_files/smile.gif
