View Full Version : How do you unwrap model skin in 8.5?

:help: I'm still using 8.5 and I'm trying to find a way to unwrap the skin of my model so I can paint it, but can't figure out how.
Anybody have some advice?

I think this is the 9.6 UI (in this video William Vaughan cuts off the title bars) but I'm sure this method would work in 8.5.

Hell, of course... PLG plugins work in 8.5.

Old school way is to make morph, and then start unwelding points, edges, polygons and rearrange them rotating, moving etc.
Once it's flat, you should create texture with Planar projection and it's done.
It's quite fun job IMHO.
