Dear David,
Audio in accurate playback & scrubbing are important even for user feedback to
introduce secondary animation tics & whinces on queue etc.
Plus bear in mind lots other programs Audio is essential, it's pipeline insurance!
Also the sad tale of Audio in the LW 11* cycle as below, reinforces the case as a Must-Have.

Yes, audio in Chronosculpt is something that should be considered for future inclusion, with the right tools CS could become an essential app for cartoony bend and stretch tweaking or silhouette strengthening and you would want audio in their to help the animator respond to the vocal performance, you would want to be able to slide the audio clip manually to match it to the cached animation.
