Hello,

I'm installing LW 7.5 on my PC and Newtek's tech support suggested that I should install "Rainbow's Sentinel System Driver."

I'm running Windows XP Professional. I'm mostly going to model and render stills not any animations.

I'm one of those Mac to PC converts, so my PC skills are pretty low...I'm slightly paranoid about installing something that's not familiar. Just need some suggestions.

Thanks!

without them LW cannot detect your dongle, and then you have yourself a very expensive demo. they are required to operate LW, so don't worry they won't hurt anything.

welcome to lightwave!:)

Don't worry - the Sentinel drivers are required for correct operation of the LightWave hardware key. Rainbow Technologies (who make the Sentinel system) has a web site where you can download the latest drivers here (ftp://anonftp.rainbow.com/support/SSD5411-32bit.exe).
