View Full Version : FiberFX in 11.6 still creating duplicates of instances after save and reload

Okay, I think I've uncovered a little more information about this behavior.

I start out by applying FiberFX to one surface on my model. That saves and re-opens just fine.

I then want a different fur type on a second surface of the model. I right click the existing FFX instance and clone it. Then I set the surface where the cloned instance is to be applied, and change the settings to the desired fur type. At this point, once the scene is saved and Layout is closed, once the scene is re-opened all FFX instances show up twice in the FFX window, if you uncheck one it's duplicate is also unchecked, and if you try to deactivate any instance Layout crashes to desktop.

I've sent this additional information as an append to the original FogBugz report 63097.

Re-submitted as report 63796 in case they closed the first one after the email to me that said it had been corrected in the next build.

Have you tried the latest build (uploaded Aug. 19)? I think it might solve that issue.

Now to get the beachball to stop spinning...
