Hi Everyone115959,

I am doing product renders that I need to display basic height, width and length, like the attached image.

Here are some of the parameters that I would like:

text should be Arial (because it is easy to read)
display both feet ' and inches " such as 12'6"
have an axis bar/arrow
should be two feet from any side of the object
should be able to determine which should side of the object to display the x, y, z, measurements on
created onto a separate layer

Please email me at [email protected], I am willing to pay as long as the price is reasonable.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Could be based on this idea if size values can be read somehow automatically and that fed to the nodes. I don't know how to do it, I'm just giving you or your coder ideas.

Do you need it animated?
Why don't you use LWCAD?
Or you can do it in AE if you have it

no animation needed.

I was looking for a simple one button solution.

I imagined the script to create an invisible bounding box, measure it, make some arrows or bars that are the height, width and depth of the overall object and automatically create the numbers as well. I am not a programmer and do not even have a clue as to even how I would start.

The thinking is more or less like a macro or action in Photoshop, but do it in 3D.

Some thing like this can be achieved with nodes.
