Hi there guys.

Anyone that has some experience with natural motions endorphin, and exports to lightwave.
http://www.naturalmotion.com/middleware/endorphin-2-7/

Do you guys think nevron or genoma would help in the process of importing indorphin files bvh or fbx? or help set up a pre-rig that might be needed
to use first in endorphin?

Endorphin is a very nice tool for simulating body behaviour, expensive yes.

ivé only tested the free learning edition and that doesn´t allows for exports of fbx etc

I suspect not many of you have worked with it though.

Cheers

Ive used endorphin... years ago. It just imports/exports standard fbx setups, same as MB uses... so exchange is no different.

I've done some tests and once you get your head around it - It's pretty straight forward.

My workflow/Pipeline is such:

Rig character in Lightwave
Export to FBX
Import in MotionBuilder and characterise
Import same LW FBX to Endorphin and match 'Simulation' character to it.
Do the Endo simulations
Export FBX, Import new FBX in to MotionBuilder and apply to imported LW Character
Do whatever clean-ups and additional animation
Plot and export Final FBX
Load Final FBX on to Original character in LW...
Render! :)

If I ever get any free time, I may do a video tutorial :D

That might be interesting, need to look into nevronmotion first:) since I don´t have it.
And what has happened to endorphin, seems they got sold or changed name? the site isn´t as informative as it was before, and I haven´t seen any updates? maybe it has stopped in dev?

Thanks Wizzard...

unfortunatly I am busy with other things now, so have to leave lightwave and the computer alone for a couple of weeks, will try and check the tutes when there is time.
